For those who are unfamiliar with Keep Routt Wild, we are a community organization dedicated to the preservation of wildlife and wild places in Routt County. We do this through education, engagement, and practicing conservation through informed science. We have no paid staff, relying solely on volunteers including our talented Board of Directors. You can read about them here. Every dollar donated goes towards our mission, delivering a powerful conservation bang per donated buck. With thousands of followers in the Yampa Valley, our newsletter, radio, web, and Facebook presence makes us the largest conservation forum in the Yampa Valley. This is the major annual fundraising event for Keep Routt Wild. Donations given anytime from now through December 9 (Colorado Gives Day) are also boosted by a percentage of a large incentive fund, meaning that your gift goes even further.
